171 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will give details of the formal or informal written submissions to the Inter-Governmental Conference on European Political Union which have been made by his Department; if such documents will be made available now to Dáil Deputies for information and comment; if not, the reason therefor; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

In the Intergovernmental Conference on Political Union, Ireland has tabled specific proposals in respect of economic and social cohesion, health, education, and, in co-operation with the Commission, culture.

These proposals were lodged in the Library of the Oireachtas at the beginning of March this year.
