Vol. 411 No. 2

Written Answers. - Extension of Bus Routes.

Edward Nealon

Question:

67 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Education if she will consider the extension of a bus route to Leaffoney national school, County Sligo, in order to pick up a pupil (details supplied) at her home in view of the difficulty for the family involved, especially as the extension is feasible and the extra cost involved is very small.

The existing school transport service represents a reasonable level of service in the general context of the primary school transport scheme.

There would be considerable extra cost involved in the Deputy's proposal.
