Question:114 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will grant disadvantage area status to County Waterford in relation to IDA grants; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Disadvantaged Area Status.
I have no proposals at present to make any changes to the list of areas designated for industrial grant purposes under the Industrial Development Act, 1986.
I am assured by the Industrial Development Authority that they are actively promoting County Waterford for suitable manufacturing industry.
