Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given to me under Standing Order 20 (3) (a) and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Pat Rabbitte — The urgent matter of the construction of the Tallaght Regional Hospital; (2) Deputy Eric Byrne — The date set for receipt of submissions to the Minister for Health for the preparation of detail of legislation and subsequent implementation on the proposed re-organisation of the Eastern Health Board; (3) Deputy Bill Cotter — The danger of pollution in Monalty Lake, Carrickmacross, the water source for a group water scheme supplying in excess of 500 houses; (4) Deputy Paul McGrath — The failure of the Minister for Education to appoint an assistant teacher to St. Mary's Christian Brothers Primary School, Mullingar, despite the fact that student numbers warrant such an appointment and (5) Deputy Roger Garland — The decision by the Government to abolish the Advisory Council on Development Co-Operation with its detrimental effect on the Irish Overseas Aid Programme.

I have selected for discussion the matters raised by Deputies Cotter, Byrne and McGrath.
