Vol. 411 No. 7

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Austin Deasy

Question:

130 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will grant payment under the 1990 suckler cow scheme to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford whose application was 17 days late due to ill health in view of the fact that this person is prepared to submit a doctor's letter to substantiate same.

If a medical certificate is submitted in this case, the question of accepting the 1990 suckler cow scheme application can be considered. No such certificate has been submitted to date.

Frank Crowley

Question:

131 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason the balance of a headage grant for 1990 has not yet issued to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

This applicant has now been paid his full 1990 cattle and equines headage and suckler cow premium schemes grants.
