Written Answers. - Citizenship Application.

Ruairí Quinn

Question:

146 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Justice if he will confirm that an application for naturalisation has been received from a person (details supplied) in Dublin 15; the date it was received; whether this person has been interviewed by the Garda; if his Department have all the documentation necessary to make a decision on the application; if the application is deemed to be in order; when a decision will be made on it; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The application was received from the applicant's solicitors in February and the necessary inquiries which are made into all such applications have not yet been completed. The applicant's solicitors will be informed of the outcome of their client's application as soon as possible.
