Question:208 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education if her Department can assist with the provision of a caretaker for St. Joseph's national school, East Wall Road, Dublin 3.
Written Answers. - School Caretaker Appointment.
Under the terms of the Programme for Economic and Social Progress it is proposed to provide grant support for an increased number of caretakers in schools. My Department is currently considering the details for such a scheme.
I am not yet in a position to identify which schools might be grant-aided until the scheme becomes operational.
