Question:168 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education if she will outline her plans for the development of post-primary education in Kiltimagh, County Mayo.

There are two post-primary schools in Kiltimagh — St. Louis Secondary School and the Vocational School, with current enrolments of 514 and 59 respectively.
Both school managements have agreed to the establishment of a community school in Kiltimagh, replacing the two existing schools.
The question of how such a single school development can be achieved is now under consideration.
