Vol. 412 No. 1

Written Answers. - Tourism Spending.

Enda Kenny

Question:

178 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications the estimated turnover of tourist spending for each of the past five years in each regional tourist area; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The information requested is set out in the following tabular statement which I propose to circulate in the Official Report.

As new regional boundaries for the regional tourism organisations were introduced in 1989 the data in respect of 1989 and 1990 has been shown separately from the data for the previous three years.
