Written Answers. - An Post Property Acquisitions.

Question:

26 Mr. Pattison asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications if he will supply the details of all property acquisitions by An Post in the period 1987 to date outlining (1) the ownership of each property prior to acquisition, (2) the price paid by the previous owners and (3) the price paid by An Post.

I do not have all the details requested by the Deputy. However, I am informed by An Post that in the period from 1987 to date the company acquired a total of 12 properties at a total cost of £7.2 million.

If the Deputy is seeking details of any specific property I will endeavour to obtain the information for him.
