Question:52 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications the number of direct trans-Atlantic flights into Cork Airport in (1) 1990 and (2) 1991.

I am informed by Aer Rianta that there were three direct trans-Atlantic flights into Cork Airport in 1990 and none to date in 1991. All the flights in question were charters.
