158 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the total amount of grant aid made available for glass recycling purposes in 1991; and if he will give a breakdown of the amount of grant aid made available to each region in 1991.
Recycling grants amounting to £63,000 have been allocated in 1991 to two projects undertaking glass recycling only, as follows: Rehabilitation Institute (Cork), £50,000 and Kilkenny City Waste Disposal, £13,000.
Remaining allocations under the recycling grants scheme relate to collection of mixed recyclables; separate figures are not available for the glass recycling component of these mixed projects.
