Question:159 Mr. Cotter asked the Minister for the Environment when his Department will provide money for the provision of a new bridge at Emyvale, County Monaghan.

In the current year, a road grant allocation of £140,000 was made to Monaghan County Council for the construction of a new bridge at Emyvale. On 19 September last, approval issued to the council's proposal to accept a tender for the construction of the bridge. It is now a matter for the council to complete the contractual formalities and to get work under way.
