Question:

191 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Health the number of children born in each of the last ten years outside marriage to females (a) under the age of 14 years, (b) over 14 years but under 15 years of age, (c) over 15 years but under 16 years of age (d) over 16 years of age but under 17 years of age and (e) over 17 years but under 18 years of age.

The information requested by the Deputy is routinely published in the annual and quarterly reports on vital statistics compiled by the Central Statistics Office. The data is set out in the table below.
