Question:

132 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a farm development grant was approved by the Limerick office for a person (details supplied) in County Limerick, and if he will outline when the grant will be paid.

Minister for Agriculture and Food (Mr. O'Kennedy)

This grant was certified for payment on 14 August 1991. Having regard to the level of claims currently on hands and the budgetary allocation, it is likely to be about two months before payment can be made.
