Vol. 414 No. 4

Written Answers. - Tipperary Local Authority Housing Scheme.

Michael Ferris

Question:

178 Mr. Ferris asked the Minister for the Environment if his Department have received proposals from Tipperary Urban District Council for a 19 house scheme; when approval will be given for the scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I presume the question relates to the Knockanrawley housing development which is being carried out on a phased basis and where the construction of 23 houses has already been approved.

Housing authorities will be notified, in due course, of the allocations for their 1992 housing programme. Within this allocation, it will be a matter for Tipperary Urban District Council to decide whether or not to nominate further houses at Knockanrawley for approval under the programme.
