Vol. 414 No. 5

Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given to me under standing order 20 (3) (a) and the name of the member in each case: Deputy Deenihan — the urgent need to provide an extension to Tralee Christian Brothers School, County Kerry, because of serious overcrowding in the classrooms; Deputy McCartan — the need for the Minister for the Environment to provide a sewerage system to St. Michael's Cottages and Balgriffin Park, Dublin 13, as they are the last scheme of houses in the Dublin city area which do not have a sewerage system; Deputy McGinley — the disturbing report by Haringay Council in London on the condition of Irish emigrants there, and if he intends taking up their case with the UK authorities; (4) Deputy Garland — the continued failure of the Irish Government to ratify the EC Convention on the Transfer of Sentenced Prisoners; and Deputy McCormack — the proposed reconstruction and extension to Kinvara national school, County Galway.

I have selected for discussion the matters raised by: Deputy McGinley, Deputy McCartan and Deputy Deenihan.
