Question:

95 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Health if she will outline the cost of any special pay award made during 1991 and the outstanding amount falling due to be paid in 1992 and in subsequent years in respect of (1) hospital consultants, (2) non-consultant hospital doctors, (3) nurses, (4) general practitioners under the general medical services scheme and (5) any other staff employed within the health services.

The estimated cost of special pay awards which were made during 1991 and for which there is an outstanding amount falling due to be paid in 1992 and subsequent years is set out in the following tabular statement.
