Question:41 Mr. M. Brennan asked the Minister for the Environment when the environmental study on the Collooney/Sligo by-pass will be completed.

Sligo County Council have applied for certification under the Local Government (Planning and Development) Regulations, 1990 of the construction of an 8.8 km dual-carriageway between Carraroe and Collooney and have submitted an environmental impact statement in relation to the proposed development. I will make a decision on the application as soon as possible.
