There are at present 11 rendering plants, engaging in the export of rendered animal carcases, under the general supervision of my Department. These are listed below.
The capacity in individual plants is treated as confidential for commercial reasons. The estimated weekly capacity of plants listed below ranges from 100 tonnes to 2,000 tonnes.
