Question:

22 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance if a person (details supplied) in County Kildare qualifies for a C2 certificate; and if, having regard to his income tax form (details supplied) he will make a statement on the matter.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that no application for a sub-contractor's certificate has been received from the taxpayer. To enable him to apply for this certificate the inspector of taxes has arranged for the issue to him of the relevant forms.
