Vol. 415 No. 7

Written Answers. - Duncannon (Wexford) Pier.

Ivan Yates

Question:

37 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for the Marine if the necessary amount of finance will be made available to provide for the technical surveying work at Duncannon pier, New Ross, County Wexford, this year; if, in view of the minimum cost involved and the nearby location of the necessary equipment, he will ensure this work is carried out; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The site investigation at Kilmore Quay, County Wexford, is not due to recommence until later this spring. While I am unable to give any undertaking with regard to work at Duncannon Pier at this juncture, I will have the Deputy's suggestion explored by my Department's engineers.
