363 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will outline (1) the quantity of recycled paper used in his Department in each of the last four years and (2) the increase/decrease in the use of these products; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The quantity of recycled paper used by my Department in the last four years was minimal with no increase/decrease in the use of this product. My Department have tested a number of samples of recycled paper with a view to finding a product which would meet minimum quality standards at a reasonable cost. The situation in regard to quality and price continues to be monitored and my Department will be happy to increase their use of recycled paper when a suitable product is identified.
