137 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction the tender for the Ennis main drainage scheme, northern environs, in order to meet the present and future needs of the extensive new housing estates in the area.

Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, I am not in a position to indicate when there will be a decision on the tender recommendation submitted by Ennis Urban District Council.
