Question:

99 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Defence if he will outline the average strength of (a) Na Buan-Óglaigh and (b) the reserve categorised by (1) officers, (2) NCOs and (3) privates, provided for in subheads B and D of the 1992 Estimates; if he will give details of similar figures and in the same format for 1990 and 1991; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The average strengths for which provision was made in the 1990, 1991 and 1992 Defence Estimates are set out hereunder. For Estimate purposes, the average strengths of NCOs and Privates are combined.
