Question:170 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for the Environment when the Commission on Taxi and Hackney Services will issue their report; whether the report will be brought before Dáil Éireann; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
: I propose to take Questions Nos. 169 and 170 together.
I expect the final report of the committee which is carrying out a review of the law applying to the operation of small public service vehicles generally will be submitted to me next month. Pending consideration of the committee's report, it would not be appropriate to anticipate any action I may take.
