Frank Crowley

Question:

207 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when farm grant payments will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will outline the reason for the delay in issuing payment.

Further investigation is necessary in this case before a decision can be made as to whether or not grants can be paid to the person named under the 1990 suckler cow scheme for small-scale milk producers or the 1991 beef cow scheme.

He did not apply under the 1991 suckler cow scheme for small-scale milk producers.

208 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when an installation and payment will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

This grant will be paid inside the next few weeks.

209 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a suckler cow premium will be paid to a person (details suplied) in County Wexford; and if he will expedite this payment.

This person's application under the 1991 suckler cow and special beef premium schemes is being processed at present and if found in order payment will be made shortly. He has been requested to forward documentary evidence of rented land and when he does so his application under the 1991 beef cow and equines headage scheme will be processed further.

210 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a cattle headage grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

This applicant has been paid his 1991 cattle headage, suckler cow premium and special beef premium schemes grants already.

The person named is not the registered owner of the herd number quoted. However, the registered herd-owner's 1991 cattle headage, suckler cow premium and special beef premium schemes applications are being processed and if found in order payments will issue shortly.

Question:

212 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when headage payments will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Cavan; and if his attention has been drawn to the hardship being caused because of the long delay in making payment in this case.

This person has been paid his grants under the 1991 cattle and equines headage scheme already.

Payments due to him under the 1991 suckler cow premium is being processed and will issue shortly.

He did not apply for grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme. There is no delay in making payments in this case.

Question:

213 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will have a beef premium paid to a person (details supplied) in County Meath; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This person has been requested to submit cattle identity cards for all the animals listed on his application for grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme. When he does so his application will be considered further.
