I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given to me under Standing Order 20 (3) (a) and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Farrelly — The plans the Minister for Education has for the development of accommodation for St. Mary's diocesan school, Beamore Road, Drogheda; and if he will allocate sufficient funds in 1992 for the commencement of this project; (2) Deputy Tunney — The considerable and understandable public disquiet and confusion arising from the acquittal of a man before the Circuit Court in Waterford last week on a charge of incest and if the Minister will make a statement on the role and function of the gardaí in the matter; (3) Deputy Fennell — If the Minister for Health will indicate his Department's policy on breast implants in view of the US Food and Drugs Administration's findings; (4) Deputy Jim Higgins — The need for the Minister for Justice to grant an extension of residence to two Iraqi sisters who have been ordered to leave the country immediately; (5) Deputy Sheehan — The serious degree of anxiety that exists with the residents and business people of Skibbereen and its hinterland over the proposed one way traffic regulations due to be implemented on 1 March at the request of the Garda; (6) Deputy McCartan — The need for the Minister for Education to provide a remedial teacher for the Burrow national school, Dublin 13, and Springdale national school, Dublin 5; (7) Deputy Deenihan — The delay in the provision of an extension to Causeway comprehensive school, County Kerry; (8) Deputy Moynihan — The continuing serious position in relation to both commerce and tourism in Cahirciveen, County Kerry, due to the closure of Reenard Pier in 1990 to all shipping; (9) Deputy Deasy — If the Minister for Justice will refer the circumstances surrounding the acquittal last week of a Waterford man on incest charges to the Attorney General; (10) Deputy Garland — The failure of the Minister for the Marine to respond to the urgent pleas by the many interests involved in the preservation of sea trout in western areas to take the appropriate action to control the salmon farming industry to safeguard this precious resource.

I have selected for discussion the matters raised by Deputies Moynihan, J. Higgins and McCartan.
