Question:

103 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education if, as a result of the State examinations commencing a week later in 1992 all corrections will be delayed by a week; if he will give approximate dates for the correction conferences for each subject; if the leaving certificate examination results will be further delayed in 1992; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

It is normal practice to issue the leaving certificate results some ten weeks after the commencement of the examination. In line with this practice, it is proposed that the results will issue this year during the week commencing 17 August 1992.
