Question:122 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Education if he will outline the number of days worked by untrained teaching personnel in the primary school sector since 1 January, 1992; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Unqualified substitute teachers were employed in national schools for 6,466 school days in the period referred to by the Deputy.
