Question:48 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance if arrangements can be made for a tax rebate to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes has no record of receipt of a claim from the taxpayer for an income tax rebate. The last return of income received was completed on 26 April 1985 and was in respect of the year 1984-85.
