Vol. 417 No. 3

Written Answers. - National Lottery Funding.

Peter Barry

Question:

65 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications if he will outline the amount of national lottery funds dispersed by his Department in 1991 to counties Limerick, Cork and Mayo.

A grant-in-aid of £442,000, funded by the national lottery, was provided from the Vote of my Department in 1991 for the restoration of King John's Castle, Limerick. That was the only project in County Limerick so funded through my Department in 1991.

No national lottery funding has been allocated to my Department for County Cork or County Mayo.
