83 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the fact that Clare County Council have completed all the necessary preparations to allow the Mooghoun and Caherkine areas of Newmarket-onFergus, County Clare, an adequate water supply; and when his Department will give sanction for work to commence on this contract during 1992.

Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the group water schemes programme, I am not in a position to indicate when there will be a decision on the Caherkine scheme.
