85 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will have talks with the President of Russia regarding recent alarming revelations involving the administration of drugs to orphans in orphanages throughout the state of Russia as outlined in a recent television programme (details supplied).

I am aware that allegations on the administration of drugs in orphanages in the Russian Federation have been made in a recent news media report. I am making inquiries and when these have been completed, I will consider whether any further action on my part would be appropriate and will communicate with the Deputy.
