134 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Education when sanction will be given by his Department for the proposed extension to Athenry vocational school, County Galway which is very overcrowded at present; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A senior official from my Department visited Athenry vocational school recently and has prepared a report on the accommodation needs there.

The question of additional accommodation is currently being considered in the light of this report.
