Question:

172 Mr. Hilliard asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a farm development grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath, in respect of a slurry tank.

The grant is currently being processed and will be paid as soon as possible.

John Ellis

Question:

173 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a sheep headage grant due to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim will be paid in view of the fact that it has been cleared by the local office.

The person named was paid the first and second instalments of the 1991 ewe premium on 21 March 1992. The third instalment which has been fixed at £9.05 per ewe will be paid as soon as the Commission has formalised its decision on the amount.

174 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will be paid his cattle headage grants which have been cleared by the local office.

The person named, who is not the registered owner of the herd number quoted, has been paid his 1991 cattle and equines headage scheme grant already.

The person named has been paid his 1991 cattle and equines headage scheme grant already.

This person's application for grants under the 1991 cattle and equines headage scheme is being processed at present and payment will issue shortly.

177 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid his cattle headage and beef premium grants.

This applicant has already been paid his grant under the 1991 special beef premium scheme. His application for grants under the 1991 cattle and equines headage scheme is being processed at present and payment will be made shortly. He did not apply for grants under the 1991 suckler cow premium scheme.

Question:

178 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid his cattle headage grants, special beef premium and TB reactor grants.

This applicant is not eligible for grants under the 1991 cattle and equines headage scheme as his lands are not situated in a disadvantaged area. He has already been paid his grant under the 1991 special beef premium scheme. He did not apply for grants under the 1991 suckler cow premium scheme.

Payment in respect of four reactors has issued.
