186 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will outline, (1) the number of advisers he has in the public affairs area and (2) the salary of each of these advisers; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There is one special adviser in my Department on an annual salary of £32,880.
