Question:180 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kerry was refused a higher education grant.
Written Answers. - Higher Education Grants Scheme.
It is understood from Kerry County Council, the body statutorily entrusted with the administration of the scheme in this case, that the person in question was deemed ineligible for a grant of reckonable income determined in accordance with the terms of the scheme.
I would refer the Deputy to the council for any further information he may require in this matter.
