Question:227 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Health if he will make a contribution available from his Department in respect of an application (details supplied) which has been lodged with the Department of the Environment.
Written Answers. - Housing Project Funding.
As the Deputy knows, the major portion of any Government funding for a voluntary or sheltered housing project comes from the Department of the Environment.
On the health side it would be normal for any application from this organisation for funding to be processed through the Southern Health Board. The board inform me that they have not received any formal application but, if they do, will consider it on its merits.
