Question:

269 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the present position regarding the proposed Farranfore sewerage scheme, which is estimated to cost £256,000; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A preliminary report for a sewerage scheme to serve the Farranfore area was submitted to my Department by Kerry County Council in August 1990. My Department requested a more detailed report and this in awaited.

270 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the present position regarding the proposed Currow sewerage scheme, which is estimated to cost £250,000; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A preliminary report for a sewerage scheme to serve the Currow area was submitted to my Department by Kerry Councy Council in August 1990. My Department requested a more detailed report and this is awaited.

271 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the present position regarding the proposed Scartaglin village sewerage scheme, which is estimated to cost £190,000; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The preliminary report for a sewerage scheme to serve Scartaglin village is under examination in my Department at present.
