300 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the number of parliamentary questions addressed to his Department regarding applications for, (a) EC special beef premium, (b) sheep headage payment, (c) suckler cow grant, (d) sheep premium payment and (e) other agricultural grants, within the last six months; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

301 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the total number of parliamentary questions submitted to his Department concerning, (a) headage payments, (b) beef premia, (c) suckler cow scheme grants and (d) sheep subsidies from October 1991 to date; if he will outline the cost of these to the Exchequer; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 300 and 301 together.

The number of parliamentary questions answered by my Department within the last six months regarding applications for grants were as follows:
