Question:

306 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when headage payments will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This applicant has already been paid his grants under the 1991 cattle and equines headage and suckler cow premium schemes. He has been deemed ineligible for grants under the 1991 special beef premium as he sold the one animal on which he had applied for premium without submitting the identity card for this animal to my Department for checking before sale.

Payment due under the 1991 special beef premium scheme will be made to the spouse of the late applicant shortly.

Payments due to this applicant under the 1991 special beef premium, suckler cow premium and beef cow schemes are being processed and will issue shortly.

309 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a beef premium will be received by a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This person listed on his application for grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme two animals on which he had received premium already. Under EC regulations governing the scheme my Department have no choice but to rule him out of the 1991 special beef premium scheme and to debar him from the scheme for 12 months from 14 November 1991.

310 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food whether a decision has been made regarding an application for installation aid on behalf of a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

This application is currently being processed by Teagasc. If the applicant is found to be eligible payment will be made as soon as possible.

The 1991 sheep headage grant was paid to the person named on 31 December 1991.

This person's application for grants under the 1991 cattle and equines headage scheme is being processed at present and payment will issue shortly.

He did not apply for grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme.

This applicant has already been paid her grant under the 1991 special beef premium scheme.

316 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in the payment of a beef premium to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and when payment will issue.

This applicant has already been paid his grant under the 1991 special beef premium scheme. There was no particular delay in making this payment.

317 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in payment of suckler cow and headage grants to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and when this payment will issue.

This person's application for grants under th 1991 cattle and equines headage schemes and the 1990 and 1991 EC suckler cow premium scheme for small scale milk producers is being processed at present and if found in order payment will issue shortly.

She has already been paid her 1991 special beef premium scheme grant.
