Written Answers. - County Donegal School Project.

Question:

73 Mr. Harte asked the Minister for Education if his attention has been drawn to the fact that a firm and positive commitment was given to the board of management of Scoil Mhuire, Milford, County Donegal, that the extension to the school and the modernising of the existing building, for which plans have been agreed, would proceed without fail in 1992; and if, in view of this promise, he will review the position and sanction the work to be commenced immediately.

This project will be permitted to proceed to tender at the earliest possible time.

The question of when construction can commence will be considered in due course in the context of available resources and other commitments and priorities.
