Question:112 Mr. G. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Education if he will include the spiralling costs of school text books in the forthcoming Green Paper on education; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am aware of the financial burden placed on parents as a result of the cost of school text books.
I am considering various measures to address this question and will make an announcement in the matter in due course.
