Question:122 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Education if he will appoint a resource person to Riversdale Community College, Mulhuddart, as a matter of real necessity in view of the fact that this school is in a developing suburb of Dublin with many difficulties due to unemployment.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 121 and 122 together.
A proposal has recently been submitted to my Department by County Dublin Vocational Education Committee for the appointment of resource teachers in the schools concerned.
The matter is being examined and a decision will be conveyed to the committee as soon as possible.
