127 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education if he will outline the amount of money spent on the provision of physical education equipment in primary schools in each of the years 1989 to 1991.
Grants are payable towards the cost of providing physical education equipment as part of the general scheme of grants for the provision and equipment of national schools. It would not be feasible, however, to disaggregate the amount in respect of physical education equipment which is included in the total amount of grants paid.
