I am sure Members would wish to join me in extending a most warm welcome to His Majesty King Carl Gustaf and Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden on this their first official visit to Ireland. I express on behalf of An Dáil the ardent hope that their stay in Ireland will be happy, fruitful and memorable. I have no doubt that their Majesties' visit will further strengthen the close ties between our two countries. I wish them both a most hearty céad míle fáilte, a hundred thousand welcomes, to Dáil Éireann.
