Written Answers. - Sewerage Schemes.

Question:

176 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment the expected commencement date for work on the Robertstown sewerage scheme, County Kildare; the expected expenditure on the scheme in the current year; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Kildare County Council have been requested to clarify a number of matters relating to the tender recommendation submitted to the Department. I cannot indicate at this stage when a decision may be made.

177 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment when he expects work on the Kilcullen sewerage scheme, County Kildare to commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The preliminary report for the Kilcullen sewerage scheme was approved in February 1992. It is now a matter for Kildare County Council to prepare contract documents for the scheme.
