Vol. 419 No. 5

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Corporation By-laws.

Richard Bruton

Question:

16 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for the Environment whether Dublin Corporation have submitted proposals for by-laws to deal with the problem of dogs soiling public places; and when he plans to give approval to these proposals.

Draft by-laws proposed to be made by Dublin Corporation under the Control of Dogs Act, 1986 were provisionally approved by my Department on 18 February 1992. It is now a matter for the corporation to formally adopt the proposed by-laws and to submit them to me for confirmation.
