Question:129 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Education if he will outline the reason that, in the recent allocation of moneys by his predecessor, County Louth and Dunleer vocational education committee were excluded.

Certain major projects for which tenders had already been received were approved by my predecessor so that construction could commence in 1992.
The advancement of additional projects, including those in County Louth, can only be considered in the context of the availability of capital resources. It is hoped that the Dunleer project will proceed to construction in 1993.
